"In Paris, the tour begins at the foot of the statue of Thomas Jefferson, overlooking the Léopold-Sédar-Senghor footbridge and the Edouard-Glissant promenade, and ends two hours later in front of the sculpture of General de Gaulle on the Avenue des Champs-Elysées. "It's scandalous that Paris, the capital of the French slave empire, isn't interested in the traces of this history when it's embedded in its very flesh. It was in this city that this crime against humanity was organized for centuries. And these traces are still there", explains the founder of the association Mémoires & Partages".
