1983, Repair of the Marchand mission monument

The conservation services and the town hall consider that "the absence of the statue does not unbalance the reading of the monument, which is now completed, in a way that seems sufficient to me, by the single large bronze medallion where the account of the expedition is read". Marchand's bust is sent to storage.
