Some of his notable colonial works include a bust of Cecil Rhodes in the collections of the National Portrait Gallery, the Boer War Memorial in Belfast, and the equestrian statue of Horatio Kitchener, which was originally installed in Kolkata, but was later relocated to Khartoum before being repatriated to Chatham in the late 1950s.
