Project

This database is the output of a French-British collaborative project, titled Cast in Stone: Statues and Memories of Empire in post-Imperial France and Britain, which ran from 2022-2024. It was jointly funded by the Arts and Humanities Research Council, UK and Labex passé dans le présent, France. The project directors were Nandini Chatterjee, Julie Marquet and Emmanuelle Sibeud.
